After three days of her being out in stormy weather I was thrilled to get my ringneck parrot Olly back and I want to thank everyone who helped. Someone saw on Facebook that a parrot of Olly's description had been seen in Grassways Ave, Pakuranga. I walked up the street in the dark, calling her with my husband following in the car. Olly heard my voice and answered me! She had been tapping on a family's window and they had just gone outside to get her when they heard me calling "Olly, Olly, Olly"! They said they were just about to look online to see if someone had advertised for her. I can't believe how lucky we have been. Olly was exhausted and hungry but now all is well.
