Lost Cat in Albany is reunited

Super happy house today!

After a month of searching, posting everywhere on social media, Facebook, lost and found sites, the vet, logging her microchip as missing and ensuring it’s got all my details up to date, I finally received an email from my ex partner saying a vet called him and they found Olive at an Open Home. She recognised him but was still trying to get out to find me. I first knew she was missing when she didn’t come home for dinner or breakfast the next morning. Highly unusual of her, as even though she loves all my neighbours and frequents their homes they know not to feed her and she comes home to sleep and spends most days on balcony. My first thoughts were she got accidentally locked in someone’s garage or shed and I was frantic emailing all my neighbours in my complex to check their place. Asking all the nearby shops and vet to put posters up as I walked with the posters and a tape. I’ve got the best neighbours and almost all were searching for her day and night and worst case scenario, in the bushes .

I would highly recommend to double check your pet’s microchip and details. I’m still not sure how my ex’s details got on there but I’m still happy it did. I’m so grateful to my neighbours for all the support they’ve given me through this time.
