Lost Bird in Mount Wellington is reunited

ID: 133578

Over the moon! Sesame is back home! He was discovered about 5km away from home by a lovely couple Dave and Vonney, out on a riverside walk, who noticed Sesame hopping about on the road. They managed to catch him and bring him home, where they gave him water, his favourite sunflower seeds, and a warm nest, safely inside a cat carrier. Awesome! Then they found me on Lostpetfinders and Dave called me with the amazing news. I arrived to find Sesame safe and well, albeit looking rather more slender than when he escaped. I am SO lucky. Lucky that he survived 5 days in the wild blue yonder, and that Dave and Yvonne found him and were able to catch him, and that they contacted Lostpetfinders to find his family. So many thanks to Dave and Yvonne, and to the Lostpetfinders team: my kids and I feel part of a small miracle. Woohooo!
