REUNION OF THE DAY: James the lost tabby from Upper Hutt, Wellington
"He came home, I saw him walking in the garden and he came right over and let me pick him up. He smells funny, not outdoorsy and is thin and starving.
He is unusually vocal and being very affectionate. So now I have to settle the other cat and I am keeping them both in, with three litter trays and lots of food and treats.
Can a cat survive 6 weeks being shut in, say a barn? I wonder because of the smell on him. My message would be: follow Lost Pet Finders advice and don't lose hope. Your cat will come back if it can." - Ruth
